The Two Car Garage

This 726 square foot garage was added to the house after I bought the home. The garage is built to Apache County specifications, including the proper placement relative to the adjacent property. It was inspected by the county and approved to meet their building codes. There is a breezeway as the Apache County building code does not allow attaching an after-built garage directly to the home. The garage is fully insulated and has attic storage. There are two large windows providing natural light. The garage is also lighted by overhead florescent lights. Both doors are operated by garage door openers.

This is the back of breezeway which shows the side entrance to the garage and the paved walkway which leads to the back deck and back door of the home.

The inside height of the garage accommodates oversize vehicles. I could park my Frontier and the wife's Volvo alongside the ATV.

The prevailing winds from the northeast provide an almost constant breeze through the breezeway. We often setup chairs in this area to take advantage of the cool breezes, especially on warm summer days. The master suite window on the right is covered by the breezeway, which allows us to leave it open, even during rainstorms.

This is a 50 amp RV outlet located just to the left of the garage paved area. There is a separate electrical circuit box for the garage.
